gosh! yesterday was the BEST day of my ENTIRE LIFE!

I watched
Walang Sugat
and
CATS Now and Forever

2 musicals in one day! MAN THAT WAS WAAAAAAAAAAAY AWESOME!!

Walang Sugat was performed by the Tanghalang Ateneo.
My uncle [he wants me to be his cousin and not his niece] was one of the TA.
He was the technical director of that musical.
He was the one who got me free tickets so I could watch the show.
I was seated at the reserved seats, ROW 3!!!
So i saw their musical.. it was sooooo COOL!
I wanted to be one of them immediately! haha.
My favorite Character was LUCAS. He was the funny guy who is the friend of ALING JULIA and TENYONG. he was the one who carried the show[for me].
TENYONG was the handsome guy! I saw him upfront. He actually talked to me! haha!
really, he's cute! like PJ VALERIO or something. and he has really nice voice!
i love the act two..
that was when the battle between Spaniards and Filipinos started.
we don't know what happened to him until the end. where he asked JULIA to marry him because he was dying.
but after they were married, the General said that he has done his job. and TENYONG got up without any scratch. and they lived happily ever after. LOL :D

CATS Now and Forever
How will I be albe to explain this?!
IT was plainly MAGICAL!
the set was really AWESOME!!! cats were just appearing everywhere.
It started with the music of cats.. it was a live orchestra but it was hidden
then suddenly the cats appeared and dance and sing WONDERFULLY.
they were so gracious!!
they ended the first ACT with a super duper LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG dance number!
as in LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNG.. like more than 15 mins long! gosh..
and they were all jumping and bending their bodies.. like WOW!
on the second ACT..
they started it by singing Memory in tagalog.
the singer was not Lea Salonga but a foreign actress!! that's so COOL!
then they dance and sing A LOT..
until it was Lea's turn to sing!!
she sang BEAUTIFULLY!! her voice has a MAGICAL thing in it that I can't describe.
she has this ability to make people ask who's singing? and is that lea?!?!
she really was the BEST from the REST!! her applause was louder than the other
[except Rum Tum Tugger]
and so she sang with the rest of the cats. and that was it!
THE BEST MUSICAL!!

i LOVE Rum Tum Tugger and Grizabella and Macavity and Alonzo and Mr Mistoffelees!

my favorite characters!! especially Rum Tum Tugger and Grizabella!! :D :D :D

way to go performing arts!
someday i'll be a theater actress :D
